Soft closing the funds inhibits access from new investors, and allows current shareholders to add to their positions. This permitted Global View to continue adding. Last week, Global View received an email informing us that inflows from existing clients will soon necessitate a HARD close, to protect the integrity of the strategies. After the hard close, no inflows from anyone into the funds will be accepted. This manager has the best track record in absolute terms, as well as risk adjusted returns, of ANY MANAGER we have reviewed at Global View. For compliance reasons we cannot publicly display the name of the funds or the manager. Global View considers these funds to be among THE BEST long-term investment opportunities available. We feel very strongly, that those who are unable to take a significant position in the funds before they close will be left with permanent regret. We have been granted the ability to add $1-2 million of additional funds before the hard close. Once this allotment has been filled we will be unable to add money to these funds.
