This prestigious certification highlights Shane’s expertise and commitment to providing top-notch financial planning services to our clients. ### **Shane’s Journey to CFP® Excellence** Shane joined the Global View team after graduating from the University of Georgia in 2022 with a BS in Financial Planning. His journey didn’t start there, though. Before college, Shane served five years in the United States Army as an Infantryman, including two deployments to Afghanistan. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and dedication, which he has carried into his financial planning career. While at the University of Georgia, Shane was an active member of the Student Financial Planning Association and the Student Veterans Association, where he assisted fellow veterans in accessing their benefits. This experience, along with his father's influence, who served 27 years in the Army, inspired Shane to pursue a career in financial planning. ### **What Shane Brings to the Team** As a CFP® Paraplanner, Shane works closely with our Advisors to manage client relationships and address specialized financial planning needs, including retirement transition, education planning, and estate planning. His background and personal journey give him a unique perspective and dedication to helping clients achieve their financial goals. ### **Beyond the Office** Shane’s commitment to excellence extends beyond his professional life. He enjoys watching sports, particularly the Georgia Bulldogs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, soccer, and Formula 1 racing. When he’s not watching sports, Shane loves spending time outdoors with his wife, Jackie, and their German Shepherd, Sasha, working out or hanging out with friends.
